About the Speakers
TETYANA GUGUCHKINA: PRINCIPAL, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TAX CREDIT SERVICES
Tetyana Guguchkina is a Principal with KBKG working for the Research and Development (R&D) Tax Credit department. She advises clients on tax matters related to federal and state research and development tax incentives. Tetyana has more than 10 years of tax compliance experience in public accounting.
Tetyana handled research credit studies and consulted for numerous companies throughout the country working closely with engineers, scientists, and software developers in various industries. Relevant industry experience includes but is not limited to manufacturing, software development, aerospace & defense, food & beverage, architecture & engineering, cosmetics, pharmaceutical & biotechnology, and agriculture.
Tetyana received her Master of Science degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" (KPI) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She is a member of the California Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and currently works out of our Woodland Hills office.
JILLIAN JONES: DIRECTOR, GREEN BUILDING TAX INCENTIVES
Jillian Jones is a Director for KBKG and is Head of Government Relations for our 179D service line, supporting government entities with their 179D allocation process. Jillian has over a decade of unique experience and has a diverse background in the real estate industry, construction, and tax planning. She has successfully delivered extensive benefits to commercial building owners, Architects, Engineers, and Contractors through the implementation of the 179D Tax Deductions, 45L Tax Credits, and many other federal tax incentives.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the Art Institute and a Master’s in Management from the University of Phoenix.
