Grand Critique: Woodbury University School of Architecture x AIA SFV Endowed Scholarship Fund
Woodbury School of Architecture looks forward to welcoming you to Grand Critique, an annual event recognizing academic excellence. This symposium brings together students from the Architecture program for a discussion and debate about the state of architectural education at Woodbury. The four student speakers have been selected by colleagues and will each receive a $1,500 scholarship from the AIASFV Endowed Scholarship Fund, the generous supporter of this event.
Grant Workshop: Navigating DOE's Renew America's Schools Program
AIA SFV partnered with Community Energy Labs to offer a workshop that guided architects and school administrators through the intricacies of developing projects that align with the criteria set forth by the U.S. Department of Energy's Renew America's Schools program. By the end of this workshop, participants will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to craft compelling proposals focused on infrastructure improvements that lead to lower energy costs, enhanced indoor air quality, and the creation of healthier learning environments in schools.

Crazy Rich Lessons from Singapore: A Case Study of Kampung Admiralty and Aging Well in the World’s Smartest City
Kampung Admiralty was a “first of its kind” intergenerational community built in the Woodlands neighborhood of Singapore. Designed by WOHA Architects, Kampung Admiralty initially faced significant community opposition but has ultimately proven to be a hugely successful and transformational neighborhood destination. Four years after its completion, the development now serves as a template for other planned intergenerational developments around Singapore. 1.0 HSW/LU
