Architecture Week 2026 Volunteer Planning Meeting
Architecture Week is almost here, and we're excited to welcome students from John F. Kennedy High School to Woodbury University for a day of exploration, mentorship, and hands-on learning about the architecture profession.
This final volunteer planning meeting is designed to ensure everyone is prepared before the event. We'll provide important updates from both John F. Kennedy High School and Woodbury University, review the event schedule, confirm volunteer roles and responsibilities, discuss materials and supplies, and walk through what volunteers can expect throughout the day.
We'll also cover arrival procedures, student group facilitation, classroom activities, campus logistics, and opportunities to engage with students as they participate in the California Architecture Foundation's Architecture by the Book curriculum featuring Rafael Viñoly. There will be time for questions and discussion to ensure every volunteer feels confident and ready to support the program.
Your participation helps provide students with meaningful exposure to higher education, architecture, and design careers. Together, we're building stronger pathways into the profession while inspiring the next generation of architects, designers, and community leaders.
