With more than $6 billion to modernize its nine colleges, the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), the largest community college system in the United States, has undertaken one of the nation's biggest green construction efforts.

 

Chester (Chet) Widom FAIA, Architect with build-LACCD, will be providing insight into the District’s design-build program and how to get involved in this landmark construction effort. Chet is a leader in both the architectural profession and the local community. He was the 1995 National President of the American Institute of Architects and, currently, serves on the Executive Committee of the AIA College of Fellows.
